THE BIGGER PICTURE
McKennie's self-deprecating description is more than a little tounge in cheek. In fact, only two outfield players have played more minutes for the Old Lady in Serie A this season, with Massimiliano Allegri's side now challenging for the title after three seasons outside the top three.
McKennie's return to Turin after a failed loan stint at Leeds has proved so successful that the Juventus board are preparing an offer to extend his current contract beyond 2025.
